Ars Technica relays what the Shift app website offers recorders ('supposedly getting paid'); the Shift site itself (joinshift.us) needs a browser and was not read. Traders Union (15 Oct 2026) repeats Shift pay as 'up to $30 an hour' with no primary source, so that figure is not recorded. Ars also reports that the site suggests more than 10,000 operators were paid more than $5 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2026.
