About

We find a buyer for your company's data, with the evidence to price it.

AI labs and the vendors that supply them now pay for data they cannot scrape. The buyers are few, well funded and experienced. The holders are many, and most have never sold data before. AIData.Broker exists to even that out.

Three jobs, and what stays with the holder

We publish the data

Every public price and every buyer's published terms, each with its source, and a valuation built on them.

We run the sale

The rights file first, one datasheet, every buyer that fits at the same time, and the holder sees every offer.

We source to a spec

Buyers tell us what they need. We find a holder who has it, or point them to people who can make it.

The holder keeps its data

We do not buy a holder's data, take ownership of it, or license or sell it in our own name. The holder, or a provider it chooses, delivers the data to the buyer, and the buyer pays the holder. Of a holder's data, we hold only what it chooses to share with us to value and sell it: its answers and counts, a de-identified sample (whose text we delete once it is measured), the rights file, the datasheet and the facts of the documents it adds for verification. We use these for that holder, under the agreements it accepts, and its counts also, without its name and combined with other holders' figures, in the market statistics every valuation is priced from. We also keep what public records and our own checks say about a holder, as the Privacy Policy describes.

What we will not take to market.

A broker that takes anything is one a buyer cannot trust and a holder should not.

  • Data whose value is who the people in it are

If removing the identities removes the value, a buyer could rarely use it lawfully, and we do not take it on.

  • Voices, faces and footage of people who did not agree to that use

A recording made for one purpose does not cover selling it for another.

  • Customer data your contracts reserve for serving that customer

Service agreements and data processing terms usually limit it to performing the contract.

  • Health, children's, biometric or financial account data

Each has its own legal regime, and we do not take them to market.

  • Anything offered by someone who cannot sign for it

An employee cannot license an employer's records, and work written for a client often belongs to the client, depending on the contract.

  • Material scraped or copied from someone else

Rewriting or de-identifying it does not change who holds the rights.

Our owner also runs AITraining.jobs.

AITraining.jobs is a job board for AI training work: the experts, linguists and specialists who produce the data that no archive contains. It has the same owner as this broker, and we say so wherever the two meet.

When a buyer's request needs people, that is where the work is commissioned. Its daily read of what data vendors are hiring for also tells us which kinds of data labs are pushing into next, which is how we decide where to look for supply.

AIData.Broker is operated by O-mega Enterprise, Inc, the party to our terms and agreements. We are not the agent, partner or representative of any buyer, and no buyer pays us in a sale we run. Only the holder pays us, a fee fixed in the mandate, and only if a sale closes. In a sale we run no buyer pays us, so our fee depends on what you are paid, not on which buyer pays it. A buyer pays us only if you choose to apply to it through its own referral programme, and you see that amount before you choose. How we are paid

Start with what your data is worth.
