Have an offer for your data? Check it before you sign.

Enter what the buyer offered and on what terms. You will see what you would keep, where the amount sits against a valuation of your records and against the buyer's own estimator, the clauses in that buyer's published terms to read first, in its own words, and the questions to send back. Nothing leaves your browser.

Who made the offer?

Set each term to what the offer says. Where it says nothing, leave the marked choice and ask the buyer.

Exclusivity

How long the licence lasts

Perpetual if the offer says perpetual, irrevocable or names no end.

What the buyer may do with it

May the buyer pass it on to others?

Look for "sublicense" or "transferable" in the licence grant.

Must you promise you have not licensed it elsewhere?

A warranty that no one else holds the same data on similar terms.

Who removes the personal data?

micro1's published terms

The clauses micro1 publishes, in its own words, most costly first. Read on the day shown; these terms change, so check the page before you sign.

  • Licence and use

A licence for ever, worldwide, royalty-free and paid in full once, that micro1 cannot lose. It is non-exclusive.

“a worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, nonexclusive, irrevocable, perpetual license, with the right to sublicense through multiple tiers”

Our reading: One payment covers every future use and every model built on the data, so price it as a sale, not as a licence that pays again.

  • Passing it on

micro1 may grant the rights on to others, who may grant them on again.

“with the right to sublicense through multiple tiers”

Our reading: Your records can reach companies you never approved, and you are not paid for those uses.

    micro1.ai, read 12 Oct 2026
  • Earlier licences

You promise you have not already licensed the same data on the same or similar terms to anyone else.

“Licensor has not previously entered into any transaction granting a third party rights to license, access, use or otherwise exploit the same Data on the same or substantially similar terms.”

Our reading: Sign it last: once another buyer holds a similar licence this promise is broken, so it rewards selling to micro1 before anyone else bids.

    micro1.ai, read 12 Oct 2026
  • Refunds

If micro1 finds the data manifest materially inaccurate, nothing is payable and you refund what was paid, even after it accepted the data.

“no amounts are payable to Licensor, Licensor will refund any amounts already paid, and no license attaches to any Data. This right survives Licensee’s acceptance or deemed acceptance of the Data”

Our reading: A paid deal can be reversed after acceptance, so the counts in the manifest must be exact and net of duplicates.

    micro1.ai, read 12 Oct 2026
  • Acceptance

After delivery micro1 has 30 business days to reject the data in writing; silence counts as acceptance.

“Licensee has thirty (30) business days after delivery of the Data to reject it by written notice identifying the affected Data and describing the deficiency in reasonable detail; if Licensee does not give timely notice, the Data is deemed accepted.”

Our reading: About six weeks with your data delivered and nothing paid.

    micro1.ai, read 12 Oct 2026
  • When you are paid

You may invoice only after micro1 has accepted the data in writing.

“Licensor may invoice Licensee only after Licensee has given written notice that the Data has been accepted”

Our reading: Nothing is paid at signature or on delivery; with the acceptance window, cash arrives six weeks or more after you hand the data over.

    micro1.ai, read 12 Oct 2026
  • Who removes personal data

micro1 removes personal information itself, "when relevant", and may rewrite some data synthetically.

“Personally identifiable information (PII) is removed when relevant ... certain datasets may undergo synthetic rewrites that preserve workflow structure”

Our reading: The buyer, not an independent provider, removes the personal data; the Spirit Airlines privacy ombudsman asked to review exactly that plan.

    micro1.ai, read 11 Oct 2026
  • Deletion

Deleting the data does not require micro1 to delete or retrain any model, weights or derived work.

“do not require Licensee to delete or retrain any model, weights, or derivative works”

Our reading: Whatever is trained on your data stays in use after the copy is deleted.

    micro1.ai, read 12 Oct 2026
  • Resale

micro1 may not resell the data as it received it, as a stand-alone data product.

“resell or otherwise commercially distribute the same Data, whether to its customers or any other third party, as received from Licensor and as a standalone data product”

Our reading: A real protection, but narrow: sublicensing and products built from the data are still allowed.

    micro1.ai, read 12 Oct 2026

Not published: A fixed licence term (it is perpetual), Exclusivity pricing. Ask for each in writing.

Research from the buyers' public pages, last read 17 Oct 2026. It is not legal advice and not an offer: a sale needs a lawyer who has read the contract. Nothing you enter here is sent or saved.
