Anchor a per-title AI price on the book's own list price
In Korea the price of a book copied into a national training corpus was set as a multiple of its e-book list price: the contractor's 2022 settlement paid 70% of list price times 3 copies (about 2.1 times list), and the Seoul appeal court in July 2026 set damages at 70% of list price times 5 copies times each author's share (about 3.5 times list), rejecting fair use.
