Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, Article 5: personal data means data on natural persons (Federal Act on Data Protection of 25 September 2020 (FADP), SR 235.1, Art 5(a)-(b) (English translation, not an official text))
Since 2023 the Swiss Act protects only natural persons, not companies. Business records about companies are outside it, while the staff and customer contacts named in tickets and emails are inside it.
